Surio (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use our Service at https://surio.in.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture via Clerk (our authentication provider). We also store a unique identifier linked to your Clerk account.

Song Creation Data

When you create a song, we store the form data you submit — including names, relationship details, and memory descriptions — to generate your song. This data is stored securely and used only for generating your requested song.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details or UPI credentials. We store order IDs, payment status, and amounts to manage your account and song credits.

Usage Data

We collect anonymised usage data through Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Vercel Analytics, and optionally Facebook Pixel. This includes pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser information. This data helps us improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Data

• — To generate your personalised AI song based on the details you provide
• — To process payments and manage your song credits
• — To send transactional emails (song ready, payment receipt, welcome)
• — To improve the Service based on anonymised usage patterns
• — To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your story data (names, memories) for training AI models.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and song data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing supportsurio@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (Clerk), analytics (Google Analytics, Clarity), and session management. You can control cookie settings in your browser. Disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian law and international privacy standards, you have the right to:
